knutson cabin on whiteface

This home was designed as a gathering place for three generations. With the craziness of our lives today it is difficult to find the time to slow down and enjoy one another’s company. Every element in this house is all about the family coming together. The main gathering spaces kitchen, dining, living and sauna are located in the “public space.” The sleeping rooms are a bit removed to allow for the young family member’s naps and those who would like to retire earlier in the evenings. This home is oriented to take full advantage of the lake views, the incredible light and the lake breezes.
